Owner Stephane Houdant decided to buy a piece of land opposite his current shop. The optician's shop is located in a suburb of the French city of Amiens. The investment in this land led to a new shop at a high-profile location on the square. An interesting deal in which the optician's shop can also continue to grow in the future. The briefing was clear. 'A warm and homely design for a wide audience, with industrial elements. The store has space for a bar, counter and studio. We want to be able to have a beer with our customers and we need to be able to enjoy working in our workshop. Customers should feel at home as if they were sitting at home by the fireplace. Because of the large investments, we want to work with a tight budget.' That wasn't a problem. Stephane was looking for a store with a wow factor for an attractive budget.
