Renovation of a Jewelry Store
In 2014, Robert moved his store to the new shopping center in Waddinxveen. After 11 years, he felt it was time to restyle the store: more modern, warmer, and better suited to help customers calmly in an inspiring setting. And also safer: we integrated a sluice to keep unwanted guests out. Robert den Haag and his daughter Roos den Haag turned again to WSBdesign.com and Forbettershops.com for their renovation. Shortly before this renovation, we collaborated with great pleasure and success on the complete store renovation of Robert den Haag Jewelers in Rotterdam-Ommoord.
Approach to Store Design
The layout was completely redesigned. At the back of the store, a beautiful, elegant sales corner has been created where customers can sit comfortably. The wall furniture and the central section are mostly from Forbettershops.com. In the center of the store, on the right-hand side, the counter was installed. This created a new flow, allowing customers to shop freely along the left-hand wall. Colors and materials are warm, stylish, and timeless. The project was handled turnkey: flooring, ceiling, lighting, interior, wallpaper, and glazing. We were pleased to collaborate with Robert den Haag’s uncle, who adjusted the installations.
